We are the pediatric dental office in Jakarta. Our office provides specialized dentistry for children and adolescents in a warm, caring and "child-friendly" environment.
Appointments for preventative care are offered from 9:00 am to 8:00pm, Monday thru Saturday, and Sunday by appointment. Appointments are available every 30 minutes. Due to the way our office is set up, we can see up to two patients at a time. We encourage families with preschool aged children to come earlier in the day, well before nap and/or mealtime. We find that children are more prepared, and typically more cooperative, in the morning.
Whenever your child visits our office during school hours, we will be happy to provide a signed note for your child stating he/she was in our office.
Please plan to arrive five minutes before your scheduled appointment. This will allow time for you to complete any necessary paperwork.
If your child is not able to keep their scheduled appointment, we ask to be notified at least 48 hours in advance.
We accept all forms of payment including cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, HSAs, and Care Credit. We have not yet to cooperate with insurance company, but we will be happy to make signed letter for reimbursement.
A visit to the dentist should be scheduled by the child's first birthday. At this young age problems can be detected, treated early, or avoided completely. More importantly, it can help establish a positive relationship between your child and the dentist.
The dentist will examine your child's teeth and gums, checking for decay and other problems or abnormalities in the mouth. Your child's bite, proper alignment of jaws, and spacing for permanent teeth will also be evaluated. A prophylaxis (cleaning) will be preformed as well a discussion of oral hygiene.
X-rays may be taken to evaluate for hidden decay, position and location of the developing permanent teeth. We will also discuss potential problems such as nursing decay, pacifier and thumb-sucking habits. The Dentist will advise you on a program of preventive health care including brushing, flossing, proper nutrition, and the use of fluoride.
Tell them that the dentist is a friendly doctor who will help them take care of their teeth. Talk about the visit in a positive matter of fact way, as you would any important new experience. Don't let the child know you feel any anxiety about going to the dentist and don't use a dental visit as a punishment or threat. It is best if you refrain from using words around your child that might cause unnecessary fear, such as "needle", "shot", "pull", "drill" or "hurt". The office makes a practice of using words that convey the same message, but are pleasant and non-frightening to the child. A visit to the dentist should be a delightful adventure for a young child
We invite you to stay with your child during the initial examination. During future appointments, we suggest you allow your child to accompany our team through the dental experience. We can usually establish a closer rapport with your child when you are not present. Our purpose is to gain your child's confidence and overcome apprehension. However, if you choose, you may come with your child. For the safety and privacy of all patients, other children who are not being treated should remain in the reception room with a supervising adult.
In an effort to help you and your child make their preventative dental needs more convenient, we are joining with your child’s school to conveniently provide preventative services
